Buyers in the tanker sector remain inspired by the recent rally in freight rates, with a number of en-bloc deals surfacing last week, while as the end of the year approaches owners contemplating investing on dry bulk tonnage have also become more aggressive despite extended pressure on earnings in the sector.

The weekly sale and purchase report by Intermodal Research & Valuations features secondhand sales market prices for crude oil- and oil product tankers, dry bulk carriers, container ships and gas tankers.
